Been to Costa Rica before? Looking for a more extreme excursion than just mountains or the city? Then journey to the savage south for a surfing experience. You need to visit both Jaco and Hermosa Beach, located on or around the on the Central Pacific ocean. This is what it means to get away from it all! One of the most popular extreme sports in this Central American country, very popular on the Pacific side of the country, the surfer's paradise; Costa Rica has been for some time now the ultimate destination for surfing. The breaking point, offering one of the world's longest lefts and rights which, on a good day, can connect for 2 - 3 minute rides, the wave has several sections which allow for carving, pumping and, of course, showing off for the folks sipping on their Imperials at the Cantina at the end of the break. Only found here make this small Central American country that is today a leading point for surfing in the world. With its beaches usually very clean, pristine and rarely crowded, Costa Rica has definitely become the favorite nest surfers, especially for those who want to try a more challenging wave on the planet. Hermosa Beach combines dense jungles, breathtaking beaches, world class surfing in a peaceful, remote setting. It offers three excellent point breaks that, with the right swell, will make any traveler unpack, and stay a while. It is important to mention Our Hotel is located right in front of the beach, giving you the opportunity to surf at any time you want, Restaurant next door make it very convenient after a long day of surfing, excellent spot to relax and have a few “frias”, what locals call cold beers. Remote and all power here is provided by solar energy.

The surfer's paradise, Costa Rica has been for some time now the ultimate destination for surfing. The breaking point, breaking on the beach and perfect lefts and rights found here make this small Central American country that is today a leading point for surfing in the world. Costa Rica has a fantastic coastal climate, warm water temperature around the whole year, the Atlantic and the Pacific and at least 50 points famous surf breaks along the entire beach. Legendary and truly spectacular, the waves here are great and many corals breaks along all costs, so that surfers are here to sink and quick transportation. While some of the beaches are inaccessible due to poor road conditions, well worth the trip as the waves are good throughout the year. Some of the breaks like Pavones have longer journeys in the world and definitely justifies the grueling journey here. Costa Rica's beaches are less crowded than places like Sydney, Hawaii or Southern California also offer cheap accommodation, hotels, resorts, local clinics, equipment rental shops for surfing and all its attractions. If you are doing the coast surfing Caribbean / Atlantic Costa Rica keep in mind that the season for surfing is not very long and that many of the waves are produced by tropical storms Mexican coast. On the Pacific coast the waves are smaller but more consistent and usually generated by low pressure in New Zealand. The biggest wave is the coast of Costa Rica is in the months of April to October, but is from December to April that surfing is clearer.
